Current selection: Last Night in Twisted River by John Irving. Getting ready to eat a snack and then begin The Last Song for #IHeartTheSpark, coming at you live at noon EST.
Time spent reading: 3 hours, 5 minutes
Page count so far: 128. Irving is wonderful but requires slow, careful reading.
Books Finished: None yet. Irving is an ongoing project.
How’s it hanging? So far, so good. 3 hours of uninterrupted reading time is quite a luxury.
Etcetera:I’m getting hungry, but hubby just got up, so I’m going enlist him to make some brunch. The dog is cooperating (and by that, I mean she’s snoozing happily beside me, instead of causing trouble); my spot on the couch is still comfy; and I’m feeling groovy. Keep it coming!

If they were here
I’m sure they’d say hello

They think you’re swell
And I agree
Glad to see you went with the Irving… Have fun reading Sparks!
Awesome. Have fun and I hope all goes well throughout the day.
Love your Last Song tweets…I really don’t think I could get through it without lots of gagging!
You’re doing great – keep it up!
Hope all is going well now that we are into the 6th hour of the Read-a-Thon
Still cheering from Copenhagen, Denmark…
I’m digging the #IHeartTheSpark stuff, but don’t let your brain get too mushy!
Happy reading!
There’s something to be said for curling up all day with a book that requires slow deliberate reading but it does lower the page count (and it might make HearttheSpark that much more dreadful). Glad you’re enjoying it!
