What’s Next? (A Quirky Giveaway)

When Quirk Publishing’s highly anticipated Pride and Prejudice and Zombies came out in the spring, the booksellers at my store couldn’t stop talking about what might come next. By now, you’ve probably heard that it’s this:

sensesensibiilty

We were banking on Sense and Sensibility, but the smart money, at least from where we’re standing, was on Sasquatch as the guest star. Makes a lot more sense for the story and its setting than sea monsters, which, by the way, look an awful lot like Davy Jones. Wonder what Johnny Depp has to say about that.

We’ve had so much fun imagining potential future mash-ups that I thought I’d invite you to play along. So, if you’d like to win a copy of this book (I’ll pre-order it to be shipped to you upon its release in September), leave a comment here with your suggestion for the next quirky reimagining.

Tweet or blog about the giveaway (and leave another comment linking to it here) for an additional entry. The winner will be chosen at random.

Comments will be open until 11:59pm Eastern time next Friday, July 24th. US and Canada residents only, please.

My guess? Wuthering Heights and Werewolves.

    A few other thoughts are:

The Canterbury Tales of the Crypt Keeper
Catcher of the Corn (though you know how Salinger has been about Spin-offs lately, so I don’t think this one is likely)
